Kunoichi becomes Nightshade

Sega has announced that Kunoichi, its PS2 action-game follow-up to last year's Shinobi, will be called Nightshade in the US. The game will continue to be called Kunoichi in Japan.

Nightshade will be the spiritual successor to Shinobi, and in the game, you'll play as a female ninja who must defeat demons and evil spirits to accomplish her mission. For more information on Nightshade, consult our previous coverage of the game.
