Konami Talks PlayStation2 Games
TOKYO - Konami lists upcoming PlayStation2 games and adds new titles to the PS2 launch roster.
TOKYO - Konami recently listed its first batch of games to be released for the PlayStation2 console next year. While GameSpot News has learned of several other Konami PlayStation2 titles that are in development, these games will likely be the releases we'll see from the company in the first few months of the PlayStation2's life in Japan:
DrumMania (a title that will use Konami's PS2 drum-pad peripheral)Gradius III&IV (a compilation of the two space-shooter games) Jikkyou World Soccer 2000 (a soccer title developed by Major A)Mahjong Yaroze (features characters from famous manga artist Masayuki Katayama)Jikkyou Powerful ProYakyu 7 (baseball title developed by Diamond Head)Reiselied (an RPG formerly slated to release on the Dreamcast)
Konami also announced that DrumMania, Gradius III&IV, and Mahjong Yaroze will release alongside the PlayStation2 console on March 4 in Japan.
