Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the release of McFarlane's Evil Prophecy for the PlayStation 2. As the title suggests, the action fighting game features creatures designed by Todd McFarlane, creator of both an eponymous best-selling action figure line and the Spawn comic book. (An evil prophecy is also involved, of course.) Players will battle numerous monsters based on McFarlane's work, including six boss enemies from the action figure series, like Dracula, the Mummy, the Werewolf, Frankenstein, the Sea Creature, and VooDoo Queen. The game is rated "M" for Mature, retails for $49.99, and was just reviewed by GameSpot's Alex Navarro.
