TOKYO--Konami has announced the lineup of games that it will display at the Tokyo Game Show next week. Companies that will exhibit titles at Konami's booth include its partner companies Hudson and Genki, as well as a number of affiliates that release their games through Konami's distribution routes, such as Success and Takara.

Konami will have three playable titles on exhibit for Sony's upcoming PSP handheld: Metal Gear Acid, Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, and Mahjong Fight Club. The company will also have playable builds of the PlayStation 2 titles Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Rumble Roses at the show. Two games will not be playable but will instead be exhibited as video presentations--the recently announced action game OZ, which is currently in development by the Suikoden III staff, and Meine Liebe: Yuubi nari Kioku, a simulation game aimed toward a female audience.

Hudson will be exhibiting five titles, including the PSP game Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory, and the next installment in the Far East of Eden RPG series for the PS2, Tengai Makyou III: Namida.

Genki will exhibit Fuun Bakumatsuden for the PS2, the sequel to its samurai slashing sword action game, Fuun Shinsengumi. The company will also be showing the PS2 racer Racing Battle: C1 Grand Prix, which features the gameplay system from the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series.

Success will be exhibiting Psyvariar 2 Ultimate Final for the PS2, which will be a complete port of the arcade edition released last November. The game will come with a number of new features, such as a stage select option and a mission mode. In addition, a special DVD that includes technical gameplay footage and in-game strategies will come packaged with Psyvariar 2 Ultimate Final. The game is slated for release on December 9 in Japan.

Although it already has its own booth at the Tokyo Game Show, Takara will also be exhibiting a few titles at Konami's booth, including a new Zoids game for the PS2.

Global A. Entertainment will be showing its new title, Jinrui Sousa-kan Poni: Alien vs Alien. This comedic action game puts players in the role of an alien cop named Poni Callahan, who fights on earth by possessing the bodies of ordinary civilians such as salary workers and high school girls.
