Konami Plays A New Beat

Konami loves to deliver the music games. Riding on the success of its latest two arcade music titles, Guitar Freaks and DrumMania, the company has announced the development of the next installment in the Beat Mania series - Keyboard Mania. Featuring 24 piano keys (covering two octaves), gamers will be able to play piano music on the arcade unit.

It's currently not known if Keyboard Mania will allow for the same link feature that the previous titles had. (The Guitar Freaks and DrumMania cabinets were linkable and could be synced up for a jam, of sorts.) It would be interesting if you could link Keyboard Mania up to the two - wouldn't that make the perfect rock band? We'll have more details soon.
