Konami has opened the official sites for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for the Sony PlayStation 2 and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the Nintendo GameCube. While the Metal Gear Solid 3 site does not have much info on the game, the Twin Snakes site goes into detail about the product collaboration, with brief presentations from Japanese movie director Ryuhei Kitamara, who will be redoing the cutscenes in the game, and Silicon Knights, which will be handling the general programming and sound and the character and background models for the game. The E3 trailers are available as well, in both English and Japanese.
Konami is also opening a dog tag campaign on the Twin Snakes site. The winners of the contest will have their names printed in dog tags that appear throughout the game. The application form will be available on the site until July 11.
