Konami Kills Survivor

Konami's Survivor Day One, a Nintendo 64 title best described as Tomb Raider in space, didn't survive long enough. On Monday, GameSpot News confirmed with Konami of America that the title has been canceled. Sources tell GameSpot News that reasons for the cancellation stem from Konami not being happy with the product, but the company had no official statement to make regarding the cancellation.

Sources also tell GameSpot News that the team working on the product has been let go - a statement Konami denies. Konami told us this morning that those previously working on Survivor have been placed on other projects.
