Konami Expects Profits

Konami anticipates that strong sales of their video game software should result in a projected profit of 9 billion yen in this fiscal year. The company has not performed as well since 1989, when they posted a record profit of 8.9 billion yen. Konami expects software sales for both home consoles and arcade markets to grow significantly this year due to recent advancements in 3D graphics technology.
