Konami Arcade Classics Released

Konami announced on Thursday that its Konami Arcade Classics title for the Sony PlayStation has been released to stores. The game features ten classic arcade favorites in one package: Pooyan, Scramble, Super Cobra, Yie Ar Kung-Fu, Roc 'n' Rope, Shao-Lin's Road, Circus Charlie, Road Fighter, Time Pilot, and Gyruss.

"Konami Arcade Classics gives new players a taste of what first put Konami on the map while giving old pros their fix for '80's style arcade fun," said Chris Mike, Konami's director of marketing. "1999 is the perfect time to breathe new life into these classic favorites as we get ready to roll into a new millennium of entertaining games."

Konami Arcade Classics is currently available at stores nationwide at a suggested retail price of US$29.99.
