Konami announces Gradius V

Konami has announced that it is currently developing a fifth game in the Gradius series. The new game will be released on the PlayStation 2, and it will once again put players at the controls of the Vic Viper. While very few details have been made available, Konami did say that the game will feature new design elements and a new control scheme.

Gradius V is scheduled for release this fall.
