Konami and Infogrames reach publishing agreement

Konami and Infogrames have announced that they've reached an agreement that will allow Konami to distribute and market selected Infogrames titles in Japan. The agreement is a part of Infogrames plan to extend its reach into new territories. V-Rally 3 and NASCAR Heat will be among the first games distributed in Japan by Konami.

"We are delighted to have entered into an agreement with one of the leading Japanese distributors," said Bruno Bonnell, chairman and CEO of Infogrames. "We believe that Konami's extensive distribution network throughout Japan will significantly enhance our ability to reach the all-important Japanese gaming audience with our products."
