While it hasn't been too long since Konami's release of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, its director, Hideo Kojima, is already busy at work. According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Kojima is working on a new game. No information, including the game's platform, is known at this time, but the article intimates that details will be revealed next week, most likely during the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Kojima is best known for his Metal Gear Solid series, the latest installment of which has so far sold more than 3 million units worldwide: 1.5 million units in America, 1 million units in Europe, and 800,000 units in Japan. He is also known for creating Anubis: Zone of the Enders for the PlayStation 2 and the Boktai series on the Game Boy Advance, which will see its third iteration released in Japan on July 28.

GameSpot will have E3 coverage of Konami next week.
