Yesterday, Adrian 'Kerp' Wetekam announced via Twitter that he will not be playing for Millenium next season. After a string of defeats, this comes as little surprise to the fans and supporters. Beginning with a quick 3 - 0 defeat by SK Gaming in the quarter-finals at GamesCom, the team found themselves thrown out of the LCS by the Supa Hot Crew and Unicorns of Love and finally, looking towards the Expansion tournament later this year as their only salvation.

Kerp rose to fame as the second-highest ELO player on the European ladder in Season 2 just below ForellenLord. Initially a top laner, the German held his own and was renowned for the mastery of Shen despite strongly voicing his dislike towards the champion. Post Season 3, changes within the team shifted his position to mid where he excelled most when used as an utility mid laner with infrequent sparks of brilliant LeBlanc play. At this point, Kerp has no intentions of retiring as stated in his tweet.

Millenium are quick to try and fill the void as the Expansion tournament dates draw closer. There are currently tryouts for the position and the only known candidate at the moment is former MYM ace Czaru.
