Gamers should need no introduction to former Capcom producer Keiji Inafune, who in his previous role produced games such as Mega Man, Onimusha, and Dead Rising. Inafune stayed with Capcom for 23 years; he left the company last October. Now, the producer has announced a new game under his new company, Comcept, called The Island of Dr. Momo.
According to a report on 4Gamer.net, the title is a social game made for the Japanese mobile social gaming service GREE. The game was announced at a press conference held by GREE, Comcept, and Index, the parent company of Atlus. Players are put in the role of mad scientist Dr. Momo who has to combine a number of cute animals to create the world's cutest creature.
The game will be available for both iOS and Android platforms and will be out in Japan this fall. The title will be free to play, with in-game items available for purchasing. An English version of the game has yet to be confirmed.
