Atlus USA has announced the rerelease of its classic RPGs Kartia and Persona at a reduced price. The PlayStation games will now retail for US$19.99 each. Kartia features over 20 hours of gameplay sprawling across two different storylines. Persona is a fantasy adventure in which humans have mastered dimensional travel. But this innovation has brought with it demons from parallel worlds, who the lead characters must vanquish using their own hidden powers.

"As the marketplace has changed we find the demand for many of our classic role-playing games has increased dramatically," explained Dimitri Criona, vice president of sales for Atlus USA. "Sometimes we forget the profiles of the gamers are changing constantly, and we believe there are many gamers who have never experienced the complexity and unique style of Atlus Games."

Atlus R&D1, the group currently developing Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, developed both Kartia and Persona.
