Earlier this year, Kanye West announced he was "on some nerd vibes" and revealed that the follow-up to his 2016 album The Life of Pablo might be called TurboGrafx 16, a reference to the classic system.

Now, it looks like West is moving forward with that idea. Producer Pete Rock posted videos on Instagram of his time in the studio with West recently, and, perhaps by accident, the videos showed a hand-written list of video game names. The list only flashes on screen for a brief moment, but the committed folks on NeoGAF captured images of it. Scroll down to see the games on the list.

People are speculating that this could be the tracklist for TurboGrafx 16, an album that has not yet been officially announced. Maybe it's a list of reference points or something else. Whatever the case, West really likes Nintendo Wii games, it seems.

TurboGrafx 16 Rumored Tracklist:

As compiled by DualShockers

  • Metroid Other
  • Muramasa the Demon Blade
  • New Super Mario Bros
  • No More Heroes 2
  • Okami
  • Pikmin 2
  • Rabbids Go Home
  • Red Steel 2
  • Resident Evil
  • Silent Hill
  • Sin & Punishment 2
  • Sonic Colors
  • Super Mario Galaxy Pt. 1 & Pt. 2
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

For what it's worth, Rock doesn't seem to want to distant himself from the TurboGrafx 16 reports, as he retweeted a story about his news-making videos.

West is making a video game himself. As revealed at his Madison Square Garden event earlier this earlier, it's called Only One: The Game. He showed off a beautiful trailer that features his mom traveling to heaven by riding a flying horse and growing angel wings.

The rapper is clearly a fan of video games. Before this, he tweeted about microtransactions, while he showed up at E3 2015 last summer and played Star Wars: Battlefront and Halo 5: Guardians, among others.
