Most stuntmen don't get to try out an insane stunt like jumping out of a moving plane, skydiving toward roads thousands of feet below, and latching onto a car with a grappling hook only to parasail across an island. However, apparently publisher Eidos and developer Avalanche Studios are letting gamers give it a shot.
On Avalanche's Web site, the developer has announced plans to release a demo for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Just Cause. The demo will be ready on August 24, more than a month before the game hits stores on September 26.
In the game, players take on the role of Rico Rodriguez and attempt to overthrow the corrupt government of San Esperito, an island country in South America. The mission-based game allows for plenty of melee and weapon-based combat, as well as some nifty tricks with vehicles such as cars, jet planes, and motorcycles.
Just Cause is also being released for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. For more information on the game, read GameSpot's previous coverage.
