Just Cause 3 Easter Egg Asks "What Color is This Dress?"

If you're not finished debating the color of certain dresses, then a Just Cause 3 easter egg might be what you've been looking for. The game's Steam community discovered an easter egg that consists of two women on a rooftop, wearing differently-colored dresses.

Steam user Ricochet227 posted pictures of the two women, saying he found them on a rooftop in a settlement called Citate Di Rivello. One woman is wearing a black-and-blue dress, while the other is wearing one that looks more white and gold.

Players were confused as to whether or not these colors were actually different, or if their eyes were playing a trick on them once again. Steam user AliceTheGorgon posted an image, saying the dressses are "actually different colors in-game."

The easter egg is a take on one of 2015's most popular memes--an argument on whether a dress was blue and black, or white and gold. It turned out that it was a lighting trick that made the actually blue and black dress look white and gold to some people.

Just Cause 3 received a score of 8 in GameSpot's review. It said that the game encourages experimentation and careful planning, which is as rewarding as it is entertaining. However, the PC version had its share of technical issues, which developer Avalanche Studios says it's planning to fix in a future update.
