Evolved Games has announced a March release date for Judge Dredd: Dredd Versus Death, a first-person shooter based on the popular comic book character. Gamers not as savvy with the comic book realm may remember the 1995 Sylvester Stallone film based on the same character.

“Judge Dredd: Dredd Versus Death will bring this heroic character to life like never before,” said Daniel Kearns, Sales Director of Evolved Games. “This fast-paced FPS will offer gamers all the action, weapons and effects they crave with a unique comic-book style element that will set it apart from the crowd.”

The game has been developed for the PC and all major consoles and will feature a single player campaign spread out over 24 levels. Split-screen multiplayer action for up to four players will be offered on the console versions. Check out our previous coverage for screenshots and movies of Judge Dredd: Dredd Versus Death.
