Join Blizzard and GSUK on a World of Warcraft: Cataclysm tavern crawl

Quest across London for your chance to win VIP launch event tickets and collectors' editions of the game.

by

As the launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm approaches, how better to mark Azeroth's fiery near-apocalypse than with an end-of-the-world tavern crawl?

From 2 p.m. on Friday, December 3, you are invited to defy Deathwing by joining GameSpot UK staff and fellow WoW players on an epic quest across London, gathering clues that will lead you from ye olde tavern to ye older tavern.

The first three adventurers to reach the final destination and hand in their quest will receive sweet loot in the shape of VIP tickets to the Cataclysm launch event on the night of Monday, December 6. At the launch event, the heroic winners will be presented with collectors' editions of the game by a special guest, to be signed by the Blizzard team members in attendance. GameSpot UK will also be there, once again, to pester the crowds with cameras, document the home-made costumes, and maybe do a little /dancing.

Apocalypse WoW.

You can pick up the quest line at the Slaughtered Lamb (in honour of the Stormwind drinking hole). Official quest givers will be on hand to dispense clues at each tavern, and there will also be T-shirts and other goodies for runners-up.

*All participating heroes must be of the legal age for acquiring and imbibing spirituous liquors**.

**18 or over.

Gutted I wont be able to go to this 'cos I'm too far away - unfortunately griffin travel is too expensive and my hearthstone isn't set to any London tavern. :(
