Lionsgate has released the first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4, and it's a treat. In the fourth installment in the action series, Wick (Keanu Reeves) learns of a way to defeat the High Table, but it won't be easy. He's now fighting against a "new enemy with powerful alliances" in a story that Lionsgate says will include friends turning into foes.

In addition to Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, and Ian McShane reprise their characters, with Bill Skarsgard joining the cast as a villain. Hiroyuki Sanada, Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Scott Adkins, and Rina Sawayama also star in the action movie.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is directed by Chad Stahelski and will be the longest movie in the series so far. The longest runtime in the series so far was John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum, which was 131 minutes. John Wick Chapter 2 was 122 minutes and the original John Wick was 101 minutes.

The film opens in March 2023 and won't be the last film set in the John Wick universe. A spinoff titled Ballerina starring Ana de Armas is in production as well, along with a TV series called The Continental.

Outside of film and TV, Lionsgate's CEO has said the company has been fielding proposals for a new AAA John Wick video game, but it's too early to discuss specifics.
