One might call it a heroic feat that Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner has started working out not even two months after breaking over 30 bones in a snowplow accident. But he has, sharing his remarkable progress on social media.

Variety reports Renner posted an Instagram story showing himself riding an exercise bike. He was peddling with one leg and assisted by a pole-like device. He captioned his workout with a familiar quote for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans: "Whatever it takes." The line came from Captain America in Avengers: Endgame.

Renner was seriously injured on New Year's Day in Nevada while attempting to help a family member who was stranded in the snow. His own 7-ton Pistenbully ended up running over him, leading to over 30 bones broken and a stay in the ICU. It took first responders more than 30 minutes just to get to him because of the snowy conditions.

Wasp actress Evangeline Lilly has called Renner's recovery a "straight-up miracle." She has visited with the actor and said he was in good spirits as well as quite mobile at the time, which surprised her.

Renner has also recently been promoting on social media his docuseries Rennervations for Disney+, which is coming soon.
