Dreamcatcher Interactive's adventure game Jekyll & Hyde has gone gold and will ship to stores later this month. The game is based on the classic horror story The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Jekyll & Hyde features real-time gameplay in a creepy 3D Victorian world. The game is set in London during the 1890s. Players assume the role of Dr. Jekyll, whose daughter has been kidnapped, and he has one night to collect a group of mysterious artifacts as a ransom. In order to collect these artifacts, Jekyll reactivates his laboratory equipment and brings back Mr. Hyde, his evil alternate personality. In the game, players will choose when to invoke Mr. Hyde--and once they switch, they may never be able to switch back.

Jekyll & Hyde will be available in stores on October 1 for an approximate retail price of $19.95.
