Meesa thinking I'm back.

Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best wants to go in a different direction within a galaxy far, far away. In fact, he wants to take his new Star Wars character, Kelleran Beq, and become "Jedi John Wick" in a movie.

Speaking with ComicBook.com, Best threw out his pitch for this presumably violent Star Wars project. "I want to do a Jedi John Wick as Kelleran Beq," said the actor. "And I don't even need to say any words. I just want to do two hours of lightsabers and people in the way."

Best is known for portraying Jar Jar in The Phantom Menace and is proud of his Star Wars legacy--even though it's been "painful" in the past, too. However, last year, Best got to appear in a shocking cameo as Jedi Kelleran Beq for The Mandalorian. This small taste of on-screen action for the Jedi, who actually originated from Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge, has given Best ideas of what Beq could do with a larger role.

"... The fight that I did for Mandalorian is one-tenth of 1% of what I could do," Best said. "And there's so much more." The actor noted that Beq's fighting style comes "from Filipino martial arts." This could offer something new for Star Wars, since "most of the Jedi are Japanese samurai influenced, but the Filipinos beat the samurai and they beat the Spanish," according to Best.

Lucasfilm chief creative officer Dave Filoni has mentioned Best could be back for more Star Wars projects, including as Beq. In the meantime, Best will voice Darth Jar Jar Binks in an upcoming Star Wars Lego show.

Right now, The Phantom Menace is seeing quite the renaissance as reportedly the most-watched Star Wars movie on Disney+. For more, check out why GameSpot thinks Jar Jar is good.
