Electronic Arts is working on a new James Bond third-person action adventure game called Everything or Nothing. The game will feature an entirely new story, and a variety of characters will be involved. New Bond girls will make an appearance, and 007 will have to contend with an assortment of old villains from the film series and new ones created specifically for the game. As with any good Bond story, Everything or Nothing will have the world's greatest secret agent visiting several far-flung locations--you'll travel to four continents and see the Valley of the Kings in Egypt and New Orleans' French Quarter, among others.

Unlike recent Bond games, which have been played from the first-person perspective, Everything or Nothing will be viewed from the third-person perspective. The Bond character in the game has been modeled closely on Pierce Brosnan, the actor who has portrayed Bond in the last few films. EA has "cyberscanned" Brosnan's likeness, and he'll also provide voice work for the game. You'll engage your foes in a number of different ways--in some cases, stealth and subterfuge will be more appropriate than simply duking it out with the bad guys. When it does come time to get scrappy, you'll be able to fight hand-to-hand, using objects in the environment, and of course with a variety of weapons. The legendary Q will provide an assortment of his famous gadgets as well. Finally, you'll be using a number of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, tanks, and helicopters.

Everything or Nothing will contain a few two-player cooperative missions in addition to the main single-player storyline, and a four-player deathmatch mode will be available as well. The game is currently scheduled for release this fall, and a Game Boy Advance version is also planned. We'll bring you more information on all the versions of Everything or Nothing as soon as it becomes available.
