Jack Reacher Video Game Has a Great Name

The Jack Reacher game's title teaches a very important lesson.

If there's one lesson we can learn from the Jack Reacher game, it's from its title. Jack Reacher: Never Stop Punching is a promotional flash game for the Tom Cruise movie, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

Never Stop Punching is an endless runner in which, like the title says, you don't ever have to stop punching. Despite the title implying you should never stop throwing your fists, you probably should at some point to move faster. In fact, you don't actually have to punch anyone at all. Just jump over all of the enemies to play the game as a pacifist. It's a simple game that doesn't really do much past the excellent title. You can play it here.

The game doesn't seem to have a plot, but the upcoming movie's synopsis says, "Jack Reacher must uncover the truth behind a major government conspiracy in order to clear his name. On the run as a fugitive from the law, Reacher uncovers a potential secret from his past that could change his life forever."

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back hits theaters on October 21. It stars Cruise, Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Robert Knepper (Prison Break), and Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton). The movie is directed by Edward Zwick, who helmed Blood Diamond and The Last Samurai, which featured Cruise.
