Is Mr. Freeze in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins DLC?

New story DLC coming to Batman: Arkham Origins in 2014, Warner. Bros confirms.

New story DLC will be coming to Batman: Arkham Origins in 2014, Warner. Bros has confirmed.

But will the DLC revolve around supervillain Mr Freeze? In a post on Facebook, the publisher shared a teaser image showing a previously-teased award covered in ice--and just who else could that be about, really?

The game's social media page previously released an image for something called the Humanitarian of the Year award, suggesting that this might play a part in the narrative of the new DLC.

Warner. Bros released no other information about the upcoming story DLC, although a suite of content has been added into the game since its release, including numerous skin packs, an additional multiplayer mode, and a series of challenge maps that revolve around Bruce Wayne training to become Batman.

The upcoming story DLC is the last chunk of content offered as part of the game's $19.99 season pass.

Batman: Arkham Origins was developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC in October 2013. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's review.

two best villans on my opinion are scarecrow, and deathshot, Joker became slightly borring, i was hoping this game would be without joker, pinguin is cool, but i would make him look more like danny de vito in batman returns (i think), enigma is also borring, the game look... i dont know pushed, the city is great but the story is again same (joker and pals) ra's a ghul was great in last game. There is so many great characters from batman comics, adn they always stuck on joker. With joker they ruind the game

Just so long as it turns out to be proper single-player campaign dlc, and not another cheap shot like Initiation.

Story driven my arse!

Good thing I'm waiting GOTY with all DLC included and since WB wants to defend that stupid season pass, I will gladly wait GOTY.

Come on, Martin.

"Is Mr. Freeze in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins DLC"?

No, it's that famous Batman villain, the Popsicle Boogie Man Demon.

I can't believe this is so difficult. The Humanitarian of the year award, the giant ice heart... Clearly they are setting up for the Justice League sequel and the the main villain of this is Flash's nemesis, Captain Cold... So simple.

Ok.. Now it looks like WB Montreal really is milking the franchise.. Freeze was spectacular in Arkham city.
Loved the mini boss fight with him.

They better not ruin it in Origins.

So much fail. "Deathshot"? A Danny Devito "Pinguin"? No. Just no.

Initiation was never advertised as story-driven. It was advertised just as it was: challenge maps with some narrative.

@gamefreak215jd Game industry, my friend. They spend more money with marketing, than development.

@gameroutlawzz @meatz666 @gamefreak215jd generic comment about one particular brand = fanboy

Nintendo wants me to dish out £35 for a digital DS game. Who they think they are to sell a freaking handheld game for £35?

@meatz666 @gamefreak215jd NO justice league. If JLA comes into the Arkham games, I wont buy them. I hate JLA, I hate superman, I hate Flash, I hate green arrow, I hate wonder woman, I hate martian manhunter.

If they want to make JLA games, great. Dont ruin the Arkham series with JLA when theres no need for them.

@gamefreak215jd @meatz666 If I was Warner, I would keep quiet this year, and release an awesome Batman from Rocksteady in 2015. They are worried about not using Joker in the sequence of B:AC? They could stop worrying about the villains, and put some justice league allies in the story.
