Interact Announces New Gamepad for PS2
Third-party peripheral company to release PS2 controller.
InterAct Accessories announced today that it will sell a new type of controller called the Dual Impact 2 for the Sony PS2, and it will be available when the system launches in late October. InterAct promises an ergonomic and innovative design. The controller will feature force feedback, four analog fire buttons, two analog joysticks, and the usual eight-way digital pad.
"We figured that the Dual Impact was so well received by PlayStation owners, why should we mess with a good thing," said Dean Stoyer, director of marketing for InterAct Accessories. "We're pleased to be able to offer this performance-driven value item to first-time console and multiplatform owners."
The Dual Impact 2 carries a suggested retail price of US$24.99.
