Intel Gets Ready to Rock and Roll

Immersion Corp., best known as the creator of force feedback technology, is teaming up with Intel Corp. to integrate Immersion's I-FORCE technology with Intel products. These include the Pentium II processor with MMX media enhancement technology and Intel's PC platform advancement efforts such as USB (Universal Serial Bus) and Accelerated Graphics Port. I-FORCE, which literally allows players to feel the game rather than just watch and hear it, has already been integrated into games from companies like Electronic Arts, SegaSoft, Interplay, Accolade, and Activision. Peripherals makers like Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Advanced Gravis will also support I-FORCE.
