Inspector Gadget Preview

The Ubi Soft-published Inspector Gadget, contrary to what you'd expect, isn't based on the recent film but rather on DiC's classic cartoon series, which is now enjoying syndication in countless regions throughout the world.

Set for release in November of this year, the RFX Interactive game will star Gadget himself; his niece and expert gumshoe, Penny; and her dog, Brain, an accomplished master of disguise. In the game, the trio must combine their skills to thwart the vile Dr. Claw, who's fixing to infest the world with MadKactus - a most vile germ.

The whimsical platformer will be set in five worlds, each of which will consist of four levels. Penny, Brain, and the Inspector himself will be playable characters, and youwill have access to familiar gizmos, like Gadget's rocket-propelled roller skates, hammer-hat, and such. Secrets are sure to be in abundance, as are themes and characters familiar to fans of the show. Look for a full preview of the title once we get our hands on a playable build.
