Strategy First has unveiled Inquisition, an action-adventure game in development at Wanadoo that it plans to publish in North America later this year. Inquisition's adventure starts off in Chatelet prison in Paris. The time is 1348, and the Black Plague is raging throughout Europe. The main character, Matthew, befriends a Knight Templar who, before dying in the prison, gives Matthew a clue to the treasure of the Templar order. Matthew must escape from the prison and investigate the Templars' secret, pursued all the while by the relentless Inquisition.

Inquisition is a third-person action adventure game with an emphasis on stealth and puzzle solving. The game features seven levels that span 15 locations that painstakingly re-create a number of locations in medieval Paris. Inquisition is said to take its inspiration from the medieval mystery movie The Name of the Rose. Strategy First expects the game to ship in North America at the end of the year.
