Infogrames and Immersion Corporation, pioneers in the touch interaction technology, have reached an agreement to implement Immersion's TouchSense technology into animated Infogrames' web sites. Visitors to various Infogrames sites, equipped with a Force Feedback Mouse peripheral, can now experience touch sensations from the rumbling of explosions or the motion of a jet flyby.

"As an interactive entertainment company, Infogrames is dedicated to enhancing the user's experience in our games and on our web sites," said Jonathan Tagle, director of online marketing for Infogrames. "Immersion technology adds extra depth to our web environment that stimulates the senses and enables us to better convey the overall experiences our games deliver."

Immersion's Force Feedback technology for web sites was introduced to the market on February 22, 2000.
