In 2013, Riot permanently banned Nicolaj “Incarnati0n” Jensen from competitive play for toxic behavior in game and apparent engagements in a number of DDOS attacks against high elo players, the latter of which he has denied having any involvement.

However, this permanent ban has since then been lifted and Incarnati0n has been cleared to play May 11, 2015.

According to Riot, Incarnati0n “had made a serious effort to exceed normal standards of good behavior.” This is in accordance with the company’s new philosophy that “reform is meant to earn players second chances, not undo all the consequences of their past actions.”

But what makes this case so compelling is that Incarnati0n is a talented and highly sought after solo-queue player, earning the number one rank on the ladder several times. Known for his calculated aggression and wide champion pool, players like Diamondprox have praised him, saying he was even better than Froggen in solo-queue.

There have been several teams tracking his progress, and there have been reports that Incarnati0n has already agreed to a deal with North American team Cloud9.
