CDV Software has announced Imperium Galactica 3: Genesis, its upcoming 3D real-time strategy game. The game takes place in the year 2040, when an alien force has taken over the earth. Players must build colonies on other planets, build their forces, and eventually restore the earth to human control. The game will include one primary single-player campaign along with six parallel storylines, and it will feature five alien races, modular unit construction, and 100 planets in 20 different solar systems. In addition, the game will include more than 25 random missions.

Imperium Galactica 3: Genesis is in development at Philoslabs, and it is scheduled for release in early 2002. For more information, visit the game's official Web site.
