Imperial Strike Coming

TalonSoft is continuing to support fans of Rising Sun, a platoon-level WWII Pacific-theater wargame, and today it revealed plans to release an expansion pack for the game next month. Imperial Strike will feature a new, linked campaign mode and a hypothetical full-scale Japanese attack on the continental US. TalonSoft has reported sales in excess of 250,000 copies for its Campaign-series wargame trilogy, which includes East Front, West Front, and Rising Sun.

"Imperial Strike is really a unique product, putting gamers in a 'what-if' scenario with the Japanese attack on the US mainland," said TalonSoft president Jim Rose.

Imperial Strike will be available directly from TalonSoft as of this July.
