Ubi Soft Entertainment has announced that IL-2 Sturmovik, its latest flight combat game, has shipped to stores. The game re-creates air battles from World War II's eastern front, and it features several gameplay modes and difficulty levels. Players control one of 31 different Russian and German aircraft in a variety of missions including air-to-air combat, air-to-ground combat, search-and-destroy, and escort scenarios. The game's multiplayer mode supports up to 32 players in dogfights or up to 16 players in a cooperative squadron.

IL-2 Sturmovik was developed by Maddox Games, and it will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $39.95. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
