The International Game Developers Network will be holding its first developers conference in Austin, Texas.

The International Game Developers Network will be holding its first developers conference in Austin, Texas, March 13 and 14.

Selected speakers include Richard Garriott, Brian Moriarty, Alex St. John, Chris Crawford, Jim Dunnigan, Dani Bunten Berry, George Sanger (the Fat Man), and dozens of others. Over 40 individual sessions will be offered, on topics like game design, game programming, getting into game development, and sound and music.

The IGDN was founded in 1996 and is made up of the people who create and develop computer games.

"The IGDN is proud to bring this outstanding group of speakers to Austin for our first game developers conference," said Gordon Walton, president of the IGDN. "By creating events that allow the people involved in game development to meet each other and share information, we are fulfilling our charter."
