IEM SC2 World Championship boasts $100,000 winner takes all prize pool
The event in Katowice, Poland will feature a bold $100,000 prize pool with the entirety of the loot going to the champion.

Moments ago ESL announced that the StarCraft II World Championship taking place in Katowice, Poland will boast a $100,000, winner takes all prize pool.

The tournament will feature a single elimination bracket. The following players have qualified thus far:
- Kim 'Revival' Dong Hyun
- Kim 'Oz' Hak Soo
- Lee 'Life' Seung Hyun
- Johan 'naniwa' Lucchesi
- Kim 'herO' Joon Ho
- Kang 'san' Cho Won
The six remaining spots will be filled through invitations and qualifiers with details being announced at a later time. ESL will be paying for all of the players flights and accommodations.
Though the overall prize pool is smaller, this tournament matches BlizzCon in what paid its winner making it very lucrative for the person who does walk away the winner.
