During the company's latest Nintendo Direct, it was also revealed the game will have four brand new DLC packs that will be released in 2016. These packs will be available individually and as part of a season pass when the game launches.
Specifics on prices and the contents on each of these were not provided, but those that pick up the season pass will get an exclusive Ganondorf costume.
Both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Hyrule Warriors will get a new character: Medil from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. She will be available for free.
Finally, those that pre-order a physical version the game in the US will get a special Hyrule Warriors home menu for 3DS. This will be available to those in Europe if the game is purchased from the eShop.
