Pretty insane prices, but I wish they would give steam keys.

"you’ll need a Uplay account to download and play the games."

Wow, that's too bad. I was looking to buy farcry 3 until I saw that sentence. Pass....

I highly recommend anyone who is a fan of plat formers to play Rayman: Legends it's a highly underrated game and for $10 its a steal. Also has alot of the levels from Origin so you are getting 2 games in 1.

$20 for Assassin's Creed IV?

That doesn't seem very humble to me.

Sorry, I don't buy games from people who come up with horrifically stupid reasons for excluding women in video games. What's really sad is I believe Ubisoft. I believe that their development costs are so stupefyingly high, that we could retire a full percent of the national debt for the cost it takes to put women in those two games. That's how insane Ubisoft is getting with their games.

Who wants to use Uplay?  The console versions are superior for this reason alone.

I wish Rayman and CoL prices also applied to the Wii U digital version :S

Too bad I already have all the ones I'm interested in.

What gets me is why even after buying on steam, I still have to log into uplay again, that is two logins for one game.

Yep, but most of them require U(Don't)Play.

This is one of the ways I end up saving more on PC gaming.

I usually bought my games on Uplay even AC4+Season Pass. But after the downgrade on WD PC, no thanks.

@gplayer5 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought even if you're buying it in Steam, you will be required to play through uPlay.

@Duckynevada +1

But I recommend both Origins and legends. They are both great if you are into platformers.

@TheWatcher000 It's still normally $40 retail.  50% a game that's not even a year old yet.  Maybe "humble" isn't the right word, but it's not bad.

@Khasym Oh but you're totally fine with buying games from other companies which dont include women either, but thats cool because those other companies havent been singled out like ubi was right?

@charlesswann Uplay is a minor annoyance. Having to tolerate 720p and 30 FPS or lower are bigger annoyances.

Halloll

@charlesswann but they still require a Uplay account for multiplayer on consoles

@archav3n Yup i'm done with Ubi until they stop reducing the PC versions to that of the consoles.

@archav3n I have some 20 games on Uplay and haven't bought one of them there, I don't get why anyone would when sites like greenmangaming sell them cheaper

@faizanhd I would but uPlay is off limits for me out of princible. Steam and Origin are the most I am willing to take in terms of DRM.

@Acillatem1993 @Khasym When a company offers up such a believable, well thought out excuse like Ubisoft did, they single THEMSELVES out.

metallinatus

@Khasym @Acillatem1993 You know they already made an AC where you play as a woman, right?

Just because they didn't include something doesn't mean they are excluding it....

Khasym

@metallinatus @Khasym @Acillatem1993 And there was a female playable in the Far Cry 3 multiplayer game. That's the point. They could have said ANYTHING else to avoid this fight. "We're still exploring our options." "We want to focus on this person's story, but we're going to look at it for future content for Unity" "We want to keep the story concise on Argo." Nobody would have blinked at those. It was the SOFTEST PITCH that could be thrown!! But Ubisoft couldn't resist a chance to either demonstrate their complete abandon of financial responsibility by letting their budget get so far away from them that it IS a serious financial responsibility, or just flat out LIE to the gaming public over it.
