Xbox Live's "Countdown" sale, which Microsoft is calling the biggest-ever sale period in the platform's history, has entered its second week. The dozens of new offers announced today on Major Nelson's blog replace those from last week.

Some of this week's discounted Xbox One games include Fallout 4 ($50), Assassin's Creed Syndicate ($48), Alien: Isolation ($7.50), Gears of War Ultimate Edition ($7.50), FIFA 16 + Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare bundle ($24), and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ($40).

Head to Major Nelson's blog here to see all of the Xbox One deals, as well as offers for Xbox 360 games, but note that they also include the regular, weekly Deals With Gold offers. In addition, some offers require an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Some of the discounted Xbox 360 games include FIFA 16 ($24), Hitman Absolution ($4), Left 4 Dead 2 ($5), Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ($33.50), Max Payne 3 ($5), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ($15)

A variety of movies and TV shows are also marked down. The Countdown deals are good through January 7, while the weekly offers go away January 4.

Microsoft has also announced the daily deals for tomorrow, December 29. The Xbox One offer is Saints Row IV Re-Elected and Gat Out of Hell ($16.49) and the Xbox 360 deal is Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell ($10.04).
