House Party rolls on

The expansion for EA's virtual-life game, The Sims, outsells the competition for the week ending April 21.

Electronic Arts solidified its hold this week on the top spaces in NPD Intelect's weekly list of best-selling games. At the top of the list is The Sims: House Party, the second expansion pack to the wildly popular virtual-life game, The Sims. Lionhead's innovative god game Black & White, also published by EA, took second place, while the original version of The Sims came in at third, followed by The Sims: Livin' Large, another expansion for The Sims, giving EA a sweep of the top four places. The team-based action game Tribes 2 slipped from fourth place to fifth place in its third full week of sales.
