Dennaton's top-down action game Hotline Miami is now free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in the United States, Sony has announced. The game normally sells for $10.

Hotline Miami is a Cross-Buy title, allowing consumers to pay once for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game.

Hotline Miami was released on the PlayStation Network earlier this year, following its original release for PC in 2012. The game is set in 1989 Miami and has players laying waste to enemies in various stages while donning animal masks. A sequel is in development.

Sony is also holding a "Sale of the Dead" now that features discounts on The Last of Us ($36 for PS Plus subscribers, $46 for all), Dead Island Riptide ($20 for PS Plus subscribers, $25 for all), and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Collection ($14 for PS Plus subscribers, $20 for all), among others.
