Hotline Miami 2 and Rogue Legacy coming to PS4 and Vita

Hotline Miami 2 and Rogue Legacy, among others, will make their console debut on Sony platforms.

Neon-hued tactical blaster Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and procedural genealogical adventure Rogue Legacy will both make their console debut first on the PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2014, Sony has announced.

Sony's Shahid Ahmad delivered the news during the company's Gamescom 2013 press conference, along with many other signings that will see a suite of indie games grace Sony platforms ahead of Microsoft's.

Edmund McMillen's roguelike The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, and Super Crate Box developer Vlambeer's top-down shooter Wasteland Kings will also make their console exclusive debut on PlayStation 4 and Vita.

Mike Bithell's recently announced Volume will also make its console debut on PS4.

Alongside that, the console versions of Guns of Icarus Online and N++ will also be coming to the PlayStation 4.

Earlier today, Microsoft outlined full details of its own self-publishing scheme designed to tempt indie developers to the Xbox One.

Not only are both of these games awesome, but they're very suited on-the-go play.

Suddenly indie games became platform sellers? See EA and Activision, big budgets don't necessarily equal great quality and sales.

Getting more and more excited for indie games on Vita. Wasn't really expecting it to be an indie games platform when I bought it but, hey, I'm not gonna complain.

Rogue Legacy is a great get.....ive been waiting for an excuse to buy it, now i can look forward to it on PS4.

PS4 is going to be a great indie platform....all thats left is for Steam to work with Sony so that we can launch it from our console.

I have hotline Miami for ps3/vita. Awesome game but brutally hard. It becomes an unhealthy obsession for me sometimes.

@apolloooo you can use a mouse and kb on the ps3/4 weather its bluetooth or usb/wireless usb. Pretty sure the vita is the same. Hotline miami really would be nice to play with a controller but yes it is much harder. Can't speak for the sequel though.

@elementonly08 It seems Sony's 15 other PS4 exclusive were mostly Indie games. They are really multiplats since they will be on the PS Vita as well. I was waiting patiently for a Naughty Dog game to be announced. Nothing!!
