Horizon Zero Dawn Patch 1.03 Out Now, Here's What It Does
Version one point Zero Dawn.
Horizon Zero Dawn's latest patch is out now, bringing with it a bunch of crash fixes, says publisher Sony.
Update 1.03, which apparently weighs in at 228 MB, introduces "multiple crash and progression fixes," according to Wccftech. The patch should download automatically if your PlayStation 4 is connected to the internet. Some users have been experiencing numerous bugs and performance issues since the game's release on February 28. A few players have even reported that the game crashes during the opening cutscene.
In response, developer Guerrilla Games said, "We are aware that a small number of users are suffering a crash during cinematic sequences when playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, most notably in the opening cinematic. We are investigating the issue with the highest priority."
Horizon Zero Dawn is out now on PS4. The game has gone down well with critics, and was awarded a 9/10 score from GameSpot.
In our verdict, critic Peter Brown called the title "one of the best open-world games of this generation, and redefined its team's reputation in the process." Read more in our full Horizon Zero Dawn review.
A positive reception helped Zero Dawn to the top of the UK sales chart last week, beating off competition from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
