Homeworld Delayed

Sierra misses its September 1 release date for Relic Entertainment's real-time space strategy.

Comments

A few months ago, Sierra Studios announced that Homeworld, Relic's space combat/real-time strategy game, would ship worldwide on September 1. Well, that date has come and gone with no sign of Homeworld. GameSpot News got in touch with Sierra to find out what happened. While no specifics were given, we were told that the game's release date has slipped one week, and the company plans to ship Homeworld nationally next week. A worldwide release will follow a few days after.

Sierra will issue an official press release early next week detailing the reasons behind the delay.
