Gamespot spoke with Sierra today about its upcoming 3D real-time strategy game, Homeworld 2. According to a company representative, the game is still in development at Relic, and Sierra is continuing the contract negotiations for the game that have been going on since before E3 in May. The game's development will not be affected in any way by the recent restructuring of Sierra, and it is still scheduled for release in 2002.
When asked when Sierra will be releasing more information about the game, the representative said, "As soon as we have something to share." For more information about the Homeworld series, take a look at our full reviews of Homeworld and the stand-alone expansion Homeworld .
