GameSpot News has learned of another Take-Two game being planned for the PlayStation2, Hidden & Dangerous 2. Illusion Softworks, developer of the original Hidden & Dangerous game for the PC, is currently developing the sequel for the PlayStation2, the PC, and possibly other next-generation consoles such as X-Box, Dreamcast, or Dolphin.

Hidden & Dangerous, which was released for the PC last fall, is a squad-based action title that lets players fight through German-occupied territory during World War II. The sequel is supposed to follow along those same lines, and once again the game takes place in the 30s and 40s.

Take-Two (through its subsidiary Rockstar Games) is currently working on more than seven titles for the PlayStation2. These include a new installment in the Duke Nukem series, Halo, Austin Powers, Midnight Club, Getaway, and Grand Theft Auto.

No release date has been announced for Hidden & Dangerous 2. We'll deliver new information on the title soon.
