Heroes of the Storm Halloween Event Kicks Off Next Week

Halloween is just over a week away, and Heroes of the Storm will be celebrating with some new content and bonuses as part of its Hallow's End event.

Starting on Tuesday, October 27, at 10 AM PDT, players will receive 50 percent bonus experience from matches. Mind you, this only applies to games that actually award XP in the first place. This bonus will last until 10 AM on November 3.

Additionally, those who win 25 matches between October 27 and November 17 will receive a special jack-o-lantern portrait (pictured below). Your progress toward unlocking it will be listed as an Event Quest in the quest log.

There will also be two new cosmetic items on Tuesday: Falstad's Buccaneer skin and the Headless Horseman's Charger mount. Both of these were featured in a video Blizzard released in September. The Falstad skin features themed abilities--he shoots cannonballs, rather than throwing hammers.

These will be available through the normal means or in two new, somewhat pricey bundles. The contents of each are outlined below.
