Heroes of the Pacific finds publisher across the Atlantic

Codemaster picks up WWII flight combat sim for distribution in Europe; games lands on the Xbox, PS2, and PC.

Codemasters has announced that it will be preparing Heroes of the Pacific for takeoff in PAL regions this September. The flight combat simulator from developer IR Gurus Interactive is one step closer to touchdown on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC with today's announcement. In the game, pilots can take 35 different planes into combat among WWII locales, such as Wake Island and Midway. Heroes of the Pacific will be published by Encore Software in North America this year.
